"Baxter Gives Back" Program
Need a fundraiser that will have a positive and stress free outcome?
The Baxter Gives Back program is a fundraising initiative designed to help Parent Teacher Organizations (PTO) raise the money needed to help accomplish the organization’s objectives. We understand the challenges today that schools face to successfully fundraise. With that in mind, this program will help increase necessary funds with no initial out of pocket expense. An added bonus...the program allows you to take advantage of the new health conscience initiatives presented at Baxter’s Bunch Playhouse.
If you would like further details about this fantastic fundraising opportunity or would like an information packet please e-mail schools@baxtersbunch.com and we will be happy to assist you.
School field trips
Baxter’s Bunch Playhouse has designed a 2.5 hour curriculum driven program to meet all of the needs and benefits of School field trips. Our programs have hands on art lessons, interactive reading with comprehension, guided healthy living lessons, teaching values through sports and open play. We have based our program on the SC Curriculum Standards of Reading Initiatives, Physical Education and Art (http://ed.sc.gov/topics/curriculumstds/).
We welcome all elementary schools, preschools, daycares, brownie troops, cub scouts, summer camps, Homeschool groups and any other organizations that may benefit from our program.

What are the benefits of field trips for young children?
Studies show that field trips away from children’s regular school environment provide many benefits. The following are just a few:
Hands on learning
Children tend to learn in a more hands on and interactive manner than they do in a school setting.
Exposure to new things
A field trip can stimulate curiosity in a child to try things that they may not have considered before.
Diversity
According to the children’s Health Education Center, field trips give children a welcome break in a child’s routine. Learning in different ways can benefit many learning styles whether they are visual, auditory or kinetic learners
Better grades
According to the Nevada Natural Resource Education Council, field trips can result in greater achievement in all subjects. By seeing real life applications of the lessons that they are learning in school children might be more likely to understand and appreciate the importance of what they are learning.
